[She is, in fact, wrong. In actual fact, Austria specifically requested her help. Of course she would have ordinarily asked Germany, or failing that, any one of her acquaintances, but the problem is, she's getting pretty much everyone's presents today, and she'd prefer not to spoil any surprises. So obviously Prussia is the only person left she can ask, because she doesn't care about her surprises, and apart from anything she's pretty sure Prussia doesn't either, being the impatient person she is. It's difficult to shop for her, actually, so Prussia gets the privilege of coming along and just choosing something. Within a reasonable price range. And while she wasn't necessarily expecting her- she didn't know if she would even agree and she didn't get a call or anything, god- she is, at least, not asleep or otherwise loafing around. She's dressed- in a a very pretty, wintery, seven layers of fluffiness to keep the cold out sort of outfit- and made up and she's currently running a brush through her curls. Or rather, dropping the brush, ( ... )

[It's fun that's what! Where's your sense of adventure? But hey look pretty cafe thing right outside the window so she slows down to try to find a parking space.]

[She just waits, feeling a little sick and hiding until they come to a stop. She left her sense of adventure back there on the road, the sudden burst of speed made it fall off.]

She finds a parking space eventually, and stops the car looking entirely too pleased with herself. Then she shakes Austria lightly because seriously the hell is with the hiding. She doesn't get it.]

[She looks up when shaken, peeking out from over her scarf and huffing.]

You might consider sticking to the speed limit next time.

You're the one who told me to hurry it up. Now c'mon are you getting out of the car or not?

Yes, yes...tsk.

[She grudgingly climbs out, wobbling a little bit and straightening her hat.]

[She turns off the car, stepping out and locking everything before scooting over to Austria's side. She doesn't know this place after all, the fluffy princess can lead. And really she doesn't look the slightest bit discomforted by being outside instead of the in the car with the heat on. Fuck yeah immunity powers.]

Come.

[She makes her way to the entrance, and slips inside, greeting the proprietor like an old friend- well, he has been sitting there greeting her since the 40s- and waiting for Prussia to follow while a waiter makes sure her favourite table is ready.]

[Aw that's so cute. Prussia just thinks it's the normal be nice to old people deal but hey pretty quick service so good job old guy! And of course she follows right behind Austria, but not too closely because that would be weird, until she can flop down at their table with a little whine.]

There better be some damn good coffee and sweet things for making me go out of our way and bring you here.

[He happens to be a very dear citizen! Who continually tells her she hasn't aged a day with not a care in the world how odd that is.

She spends a few moments removing her hat, gloves and scarf, and the waiter- this one a rather younger man who seems quite keen to be serving them- helps her out of her coat. Then finally she sits, firing off her order without glancing at the menu; a Maria Theresia, and some Buchteln.]

What will you have?

[Citizens like that are the best, though if you ask Prussia she'd tell you that Austria has a few more wrinkles than she did not even twenty years ago.

Well Prussia does take time to glance at the menu; she's in no mood to watch Austria's citizens make gooey eyes at her unless it gets them a free meal, and even then she can do without seeing it thanks. She rolls her eyes so hard at the name of Austria's coffee, biting back a response of how it doesn't sound good at all just because she's petty like that.]

A Fiaker and...I don't know what ever you think the most delicious little cake you think this place has is.

[Her skin is flawless, excuse you.

While she's choosing something, Austria is indeed entertaining herself with the gooey-eyed waiter- 'And are you in college, dear? My, managing all that with work must be hard.'- but she glances back to Prussia, considering.]

Ah...try the Dobostorte, it's very sweet.

[Wrinkly old maiiiiiiid.

Gross. So gross, gah can't she go five minutes without flirting? But hey at least Prussia gets a few chuckles in because she knows Austria lets her accent slip when she's talking to her citizens.]

Alright one of those too!

[Now go away you smelly waiter she does not like flirty, coy, Lottie.]

['Old maid' does not apply to the much-married, so shush.

No, she can't, and she's taking her time, thank you. And he likes her accent, it's very old and stately compared to his, you know. Eventually she waves him away, and he stumbles on his way to the kitchen.]

I do enjoy this place.

[Really, Prussia? Really.]

[Tacky divorcee then.

Prussia doesn't care what the kid thinks, she thinks it's hilarious and Austria can expect snickering every time she talks to him. Also if he tries giving her his number she's going to die laughing. Or pretend to be a jealous girlfriend for the reaction, even if it's with Austria it's worth it.]

Yeah I can tell. You act like you own the place.

[Yes really. Go away.]
