Thin privilege in LRP

Read a really interesting FB post by Ruth yesterday about thin privilege in LRP and it vaguely got me thinking.

( All very dull unless you're interested in people, Live Action Role Play, and how people respond to size )

It's true in all areas of society, not just LRP, males tend to treat all social interaction as a possible mating opportunity and thus will favour the women who conform to their ideas of attractiveness.

It does happen in reverse, but to a lesser extent, you have to be pretty hideous as a guy to run into the same scale of problem.

I'd agree with these. I also found I was encouraged by others to have issues with other women much more when I was thinner. Now whether this is a side effect of the 'more plot' stuff mentioned above, I'm not sure, but I certainly found people would speak to me more of other (thin) women's nefarious schemes more frequently when I was slender too...
