Three different things

1) The Times has a featurette on the inside of Indiana Jones' house. It's like Cribs for imaginary (but very cool) people.

2) I am considering going to the Imperial War Museum tomorrow. I know I've already tried to pitch this to skinny_cartman and ksirafai, but I'm wondering if anyone else is interested. You'll have to spend a lot of time in the Holocaust exhibition ( Read more... )

discovery of wonderful things, plans, university

I can't do the Imperial War Museum tomorrow, but if that falls through, and you decide to go another time, pls let me know... It's on my list!

Well, I go fairly often atm due to my research project.

So the odds are I'll be visiting there again at some point soon.

EE! Indy's house!!

*ahem* Thank you for linking that :)

It would be very cool if Camberwell had a secret government bunker full of cool old things as well...

It does have a strange cellar, which holds many odd things including a skeleton of unknown origins, which no one can bury, or dispose of, or rehouse because no one knows where it comes from.

Oh my! Such a good way to hide a body! Boil the flesh off the bones and stick it in a university archive. Everyone will assume it's been there for years and just ignore it.

If there are any epic quests through the vaults to uncover ancient treasures and rescue them from an oppressive regime, I positively _demand_ an invite!

Oh god! That's what our mini-adventure should be!

It should! It should! It should!

Maybe your college's conservation department are restoring the Lost Ark?

You know, there's times when I really wished I lived in London. I am currently stuck home, bored and broke, with little to do, and something like that trip to the war museum would sound extremely good!

If I've been paid, sounds like fun (assuming trains are working and Sazzy doesn't have plans).

Not been to a War museum since I was a kid (and that one was Duxford anyway!)

This may not be happening now, as it appears I have run into Very Complicated Plans already made by Jeremiah and Virginia. Curse them!

I may have to come up with Imperial War Museum 2 - the tourist's revenge.

Well, if it happens, keep me posted for I am always happy to wander around the Imperial War Museum, at least for the next three weeks. Mind you, you would have to listen to me pontificating on everything else therein.
