1. Before we get to Today's Misadventure, I must say that my lost weekender bag arrived in town around 7 a.m. today. So by the time I got home this afternoon, it had been delivered to our house. YAY!

Thanks. *clings* It's not so bad now, except for all the holes :)) I had to pull all the leads off my body when I wanted to get dressed, because it appeared the staff was too busy to do it. Whatever. Otherwise they were nice.

Okay, and this was because of your heart!?! It's a wonder they didn't end up giving you a heart attack.

Sounds perfectly dreadful - I'm sorry you've had to go through all this. :(

Yes. That same thought did occur to me... I wondered if I was having a panic attack, and I would have wondered if I was having a heart attack except it was in the wrong arm. At least a cardiologist (Dr. JK) was right there in the room if anything happened. In fact that was why the test was done in a hospital setting.

Yeah, I wish it had been easier AND they'd got more information. I have a vision of all of this just being another fibromyalgia symptom (e.g. palpitations).

You poor boo! *snuggles and feeds you cinnamon toast*

If there's a next time, ask for someone from anesthesiology to do your IV. They can find veins that no one else can.

I'm hoping there's no next time but I'll try to remember that. Actually next time they need to give me anything that requires an 18-gauge needle (which sounds huge) they might have to do a central line. My veins are just that bad.
