Day Three:

A pretty relaxing day. Got a chance to sleep in a little and then went down town to see the Art Fest. A lot of local artists, jewelery makers, photgraphers and the like showing off and selling their stuff. The photographer stands were pretty cool. But the crafty stands really aren't my cup of tea. Wow, what a crazy day.

Went out to Mt. Evans in the morning. Drove up the worlds largest paved auto road. The last time I was there I was with Aric in his miata in the middle of the night so going out this time was a lot better than last time. If we were to fall off the side of a cliff atleast I would be able to see where I was falling instead of  ( Read more... )

Whoa, haven't updated this in a really long time. Sorry about that. Anyway, Aric and I are in Colorado with the family once again. I figure I'll "blog" (I dislike that word) about the experience.

looks like i'm not going to get a chance to relax this weekend either. ::cries:: i just want to veg out! is that too much to ask?!?!?

wow what a weekend. i've been going out a lot the past couple of weeks. kind of feels like i haven't had the chance to just sit around and be lazy these past couple saturdays ::sigh::  it needs to get warmer outsider. the sooner it does the sooner i can nap outside again. 

as another birthday looms around the corner i wonder if becoming older is always suppose to feel this way? and the way i feel right now is like a trailer full of concrete is slowly being lowered onto my shoulders.

When I first heard the tragic news my first response - Are my friends alive? Never in my life did I ever conceive the possibility that I would ever have to think those four words. When the same thing happened at Virginia Tech I thought, oh, this will never happen to me or my friends. How wrong could I have been?
