yea, I received a copy of one of my recommendations for grad school from my american lit professor. we left Japan, impoverished, for hawaii last year today. we were bumped to first class, so we took that as a good sign. then we arrived in hawaii and a 1 week monsoon and subsequent power-outage left us less optimistic. but then apartment, followed by job happened, then a lovely group of friends and whale season ( Read more... )
