Since I have been reading and book deprived for a while, I read the whole series last week. I haven't had that much pleasure reading in a long time. I have truly missed my Vamps :) It was such easy reading. I really liked it.
I now need to read Kushiel's Mercy I can't wait for Namah's Kiss to come out. -

New phone and not.
So I went and picked up a pair of new phones fro JD and I. Mine is going back to the store today. I am happy about it going back. It is a samsung messenger, and it is a great phone, BUT I cannot readily get it to do all that I want it to. Why should I have to go through BS to get music to it. Okay so Ciara had her doctor's appointment last week and she is 25lbs and 2'11" which is not that much difference from 6mos ago. I have made an appointment with a real pediatrician, for next week. I like her current doc but I want a pedi to see her. No I am not worried about anything but a dr that sees kids everyday can better judge her health, ( Read more... ) -

Hurricance Ike
Okay so a week post Ike, we were able to come home to electricity on Thursday evening. We are all safe and sound very much happy to be home. Rumors are running rampant concerning types of aid available. At this point I just want to know what is available, if anything. We didn't major damage to the house.
