But Reese is always very *doot doot doot* and *whateverpants*. I mean, when the stakes are personal, he gets all intense, of course. But when he's dealing with average bad guys, he's always like *yeah I'll just pwn you now* with a side of *sigh amateurs*. Which is highly entertaining.
I should know better than to read you at work. Almost got caught laughing in my cube.
At least I know enough not to drink anything with one of your posts open in front of me. =0
"Goodnight, Nathan." Yeah, that last line was akin to a punch in the throat for me, particularly because I was having all the John-taking-care-of-Harold feelings. And the way Harold says it...like he's a little kid.
Finch/Ingram is totally canon. I don't know. Finch appeared quite enamored with Woman Hester. He was his usual stiff self in the bookstore but at the restaurant he was inquisitive and fairly open--for him.
Reese being respectful of Finch's boundaries. You can tell he was super duper tempted, but he refrained. THIS. I really loved this part. The way John was visibly exhausted but was gentle and patient with Finch, and Finch's neediness. HOWDOIHOLDALLTHESEFEELINGS.
I love the lady baddies on this show. Personally I don't care about Root too much (yet) but I love almost all of the female POIs, even Jordan/Mary/Tara.
I actually love that there is SO MUCH going on[...]But at the same time, holy shit, that's a LOT of stuff going on. I for one have trust in Nolan and am excited to see how things are going to play

I agree that they have a great deal of chemistry. I really enjoyed their interactions. As much as I like the fact that female Hester turned out to be the villain, it was sad because here is somebody Finch could talk with and now she's going to jail. I didn't expect to enjoy Sarah Wynter so much since the last time I saw her, she was on 24, and she was super annoying, but it did seem to be her character's fault more than anything. ANYWAY, I do read Finch as being enamored by her, but an interest in women doesn't discount Finch/Ingram. Granted, I do think it's either a case of extreme BFF-ery (you're the only one I trust my true self with, I would die for you, I love you, but ultimately platonic) or one-sided/unrequited. I feel like Finch would have liked more, but he is who he is, and cannot take that last step, while Ingram would have been open to it if the idea formed in his

I'm reserved about what's going on with Carter, because I need to see how it plays out. I didn't figure she'd say anything to the FBI until she finds out what's up with them since she got burnt once already with Snow.
Definitely agree. This has the potential for being interesting and awesome--and that could happen in several ways--but... I'm nervous about it. Don't mess it up, show!
Hee, Fusco's reaction at finding high Finch was just hilarious. I keep using the word hilarious for everything Finch-related about this episode, but what else can I say?!
Really loved fake Hester's ways of dealing with Finch. Check that he's actually following her. Play the innocent victim. Drug him and let chemistry take care of him. She was just a delightfully competent villain.
Your whole last paragraph about Reese (and Caviezel's acting choices) had me nodding my head and giggling. Oh, Reese...
I'm SO nervous. It's like, man, when a show is crap, at least I don't expect anything. But when a show demonstrates all this potential for EPIC AWESOME, I'm like OMG DON'T MESS IT UP CRIES.
Hilarious is a fitting word. :D
Everything fake Hester did was so awesome. I like that she was a little bit wistful in the way she dealt with Finch. I think she liked him more than she expected. But in the end, she's efficient and ruthless when she has to be.
