He scours the area for any sign of green with yellow hair.]

You can probably hear him pacing right now. Panic has returned and Alex is much closer to simply being a highly intelligent predator than a human being. The virus isn't good at planning and he knows it- he needs a steady hand to guide him to get things done. Dana, Ragland, Karen, Cross... While sometimes he'd been led wrong, or outright manipulated, the virus was well aware that his was too much of a blank slate to know what to do.]
