[The PDA clicks on when Alex rolls over onto it. For a while there's just darkness and a scraping noise as the virus gets up. Slowly. Unsteadily. The PDA is peeking over the side of his breast pocket, his lower torso and legs visible as he sits up. You can see the flap of his pocket occasionally getting in the way of the lens as he moves to look

Don't worry about it. I was just thinking out loud.

[This is weird for him. He's consumed women before, and there are flickers of jealousy from those psyches. Long hair is coveted by women and Alex doesn't know why. Some quirk of humanity lost to him in the fragmentation of information.]

Why do you grow it?

[It's hard to tell because his voice always has that gruff, bitter edge to it, but there's something there that just sounds genuinely curious. Alex honestly doesn't know.]

[Well fine. So when an evil secret ops group tests a virus on an unsuspecting town, lots of innocents die and a zombie broodmother comes into being. When the zombie broodmother gets released, she infects everybody she touches, making them all into her big happy zombie family :3]
