Neal lay on his back and tried to breathe through the pain that was his entire being. He had no idea where the rest of his team was. Worse yet, he didn't know where the bad guys were. There were three of them, and they'd all opened fire unexpectedly when Peter, Jones and Diana had moved into to arrest them for their embezzlement exploits

Poor Neal, he's always getting into trouble, even when he doesn't try.

And yes, listen to Peter. In cases like this, he's never wrong.

He is always in trouble, but that's one of the things that I love about him. :D

Peter is never wrong... like writing glorious whump is never wrong :D

I love this to bits, awww, one of my fav scenarios... and seriously, after so many GSWs, Neal should be long suffering from lead poisoning :P
