I voted for the singles because I already have a bunch of your short story collections in print but would happily buy e-collections of stories I don't already have. Provided it was DRM-free. That's a huge buying point for me. I realize that may be publisher dictated, but I thought I'd throw it out there.
I picked the $2.99 option because I just automatically skim by anything for $9.99. The huge convenience of "there's a library on my iPad!" must still contend with, "And if I want to loan a story to my spouse or kid, I am deprived of my iPad!"
I am also bleah about DRM, though if I believe the source is likely to be around for the long haul (Kindle, Apple), I am less concerned about it. If it's a "download once, and better make your own backups" place, or someplace where I don't figure they're going to be around forever, then DRM is just a nuisance that probably prevents me from loading it onto my favorite e-reader app (Stanza).
