Better Late than Never

I had a great time at ConVersion in Calgary.  Spent time with some old friends, made some new ones, and didn't say anything I particularly regret.  Meeting Terry Brooks was a definite high point.   (At the very first SF/F convention I ever went to, back in '77, the only thing I bought was a signed copy of Sword of Shannara.   Terry wasn't there but ( Read more... )

Well, me and Google Earth.

It's pretty awesome, isn't it? The street view you can grab in a lot of cities makes it really easy to add those extra realistic touches to any creative writing or gaming that you want to do. I love it.

Glad you had a nice visit in Cowtown.
I am so sad that I missed the panel on Friday....
