Humanity Blows

I finished The Mists of Avalon last night and now I'm uber depressed. Fuck, man, is there anything in that story that doesn't just totally suck? Great book though. And I learned some things:

THINGS I LEARNED FROM THE MISTS OF AVALON )

well that was depressing, books, meme

Well, natch.

It is because they are evil and evil takes its time.

OIC, it's their malevolence slowing them down. I thought maybe it was ill-fitting shoes and not wanting to trip over their untied shoe laces, lest they knock their teeth out.

It is my understanding that zombies are very fond of sandals, so that may not be a problem.

Um, I think I'm rethinking the whole 'read-Mists of Avalon-thing' now, thanks. I do not need another story at this time that ends so depressing on the whole.

Condolences on the babysitting. When are you moving, precisely?

You would love this book, but it's miserable at the end.

The end of August.

Is all really fair in love and war?

And why do you even read this shit? Is it like Twilight and you just couldn't stop?

No, no it's not.

IT IS NOT LIKE TWILIGHT. AT ALL! BLASPHEMY!!!! I read it because it was great, but, dude, Arthurian legend is fucking depressing. No way around it.

Mists of Avalon is a brilliant and HIGHLY critically acclaimed novel... unlike Twilight. It has intricate plots and thoughtful themes and characters with nuanced personalities... also unlike Twilight. Comparing the two is kind of like comparing Hamburger Helper to fillet mignon.

Patience is a virtue, lest you jump the gun and that guy with the unbeatable sword kills your ass.

*lmao* Mind if I make a few of these into icons?

And "If a tree falls in the woods and lands on a bear eating a rabbit, does it kill the bear?"
