My goodness. I've been awake for an hour now! Have a coffeecake in the oven (and it's starting to smell yummy, all cinnamon and chocolate). Have a kid on the couch. Have problems with my domain resolving.

Yes, it's one of those mornings. Though now youngest says she feels "great" and she's actually believing me that she doesn't have a fever or the ( Read more... )

The melt continues here. People who don't believe in global warming ought to see what life is like in the true north when spring comes several weeks early

I know what you mean, the weather patterns are changing! In Siberia, where I was born, summers are noticeably hotter recently, though this winter was a very cold one..

And here in Yorkshire my 80-year old friend remembers that they as kids used to go on sledges in the park. I have been 8 years here, and show doesn't lay anymore at all! It can fall couple of times in a winter, but never stay..

Well, we still have lots of snow here, maybe more than most years, but I'd rather have the good old days of less snow and -30C temperatures, thank you very much!

I've noticed! I have to get a chance to read that, still -- between working on this review thing and letting my daughter have her turn at the computer (she's becoming a rabid HP ficcer!), I'm having a tough time.

Hugs from across the pond to you!

While I may not have the kidlets to contend with, I am with you there on the exhaustion. Have a good day!

Good luck with your unpacking and bookshelving! I know how exhausting that can be.

Can I have measles and not go to work tomorrow?

I live in awe of people who insist the climate isn't changing dramatically (aka falling apart) around us. Of course, my awe - and not in a good way - starts with my very own president and his assholic cronies.

Could I have a piece of that coffeecake, please? ::makes puppydog eyes::
