Saw first daffodil in bloom this afternoon.
A sign that winter will be ending soon, despite the snow on the hills on way to work. And the bitter cold wind.

The hamster ate my net connection. Scampy the hamster is an accomplished escape artist and danger junky. The hamster ball was envisaged as a safe environment to allow him to roam around the house exploring to get his adventure fix, yet allow easy identifcation, easy retrieval and protection from the cat.

Its a strange place really. In a bizarre way very much like New York, incredible richness and opulence juxtaposed with crushing poverty. Oysters can be delicious, like eating the finest champagne. On the other hand, they live on the floor of the sea filtering out all the little things that float about down there. Like viruses. Eating oysters is in fact the culinary equivalent of Russian Roulette. Christmas Eve I threw a six and ate a bad one.

I'm going to Hawaii 1st of January to a conference.
