Its an ex-PC, its gone to meet its maker etc.
More importantly its not actually a PC, its my development server and its got all my work over the last 2 years on it. OK, sure its backed up somewhere spread over several places, but its still going to take me weeks to get everything back together again and get back to where I was.

Is the Internet a giant magnet for people with psychological and emotional damage, or are all people like that anyway ?

Its March 14th, the days are noticably longer, the midday light is stronger, there is even some warmth in the sun (if you stand out of the wind).

Saw first hawthorn in leaf today.
Spring is here.

Interesting experience yesterday ... In an effort to save the planet from rampant American emissions, when I'm working from home I dont turn on the heating. I can wear an extra layer of clothing and wrap my feet in a blanket. Keeps me perfectly warm and happy ( Read more... )
