For those just tuning in, here are my challenges to pimp crossovers/alternate realities. Whoo, Naphy at work! Thanks for updating us. I'm interesting in the Ouran one shot you said you'd read, where Haruhi didn't break the vase. Do you remember what it was? Also, more LOTR fic sounds amazing.

As for the Ouran oneshot... I've been desperately trying to refind it but I can not only no longer remember when I read it, but *where* I read it. Pretty sure it was sometime in January, but one-shots are just so hard to track down. If I come across it again, I'll be sure to let you know. As compensation, please allow me to rec one of my all-time favourite crack Ouran oneshots, which is so absolutely my favourite outcome for the series here.

Also, more LOTR fic sounds amazing.

Is that a vote for the LOTR Eowyn crack-fic, then? -Grins-

Aww, thanks for trying to find it. It's quite alright, and the HaruhiXEverybody fic was almost enough to make up for it. :)

I'm so horribly sorry yours has taken so long- I'm currently trying to find the manga chapter that has TamakiPapa talking so I can get the dialogue right so I can finish it off :) I have to say though, this story has been one of the most fun to right and thanks so much for your patience :)

-Blushes and shuffles- I actually have been tremendously unproductive, but I'm hoping to do better once I have a bit more time. I love your story idea and only wish that I was still able to write out Shakespearean verse properly. -Pouts-

You don't happen to have a preference amongst the longer ideas, do you? I suspect I'm going to have to randomly through darts at them to pick one of them to work with...

Oh, it's not that I am -intimately- familiar with Naruto... or are you referring to the plot? In that case, definitely not very. I suppose that I could bone up on Naruto by checking out the manga...

The plot went 'ploit!' when I read it. I guess I will !crit YOUR WRITING ITSELF, RATHER THEN MERE CANONICAL FLIBITY-FLOO! MAWHAHAHAH! God, I need more sleep

If you bone up, you'll probably be doing better than me :) I tend to just read summaries of the battle chaps and only actually read the stuff I find interesting, cause damn- that's one *long* manga. But the backstory is so *interesting*. -Whimpers-

Although I probably shouldn't really write it cause I want to use some of the sociopath psych ideas for an original short story. I don't think that's going to stop me though. More sleep. Meep.

Do you ever have those monstrous story ideas? You know, huge stories that nag and nag at you, even though you know you will likely never have the time or energy to do them justice.

Oh my lord, I was just thinking that. All day at work actually. Do you remember that Hojo/Kagome fic I was talking about writing quite awhile ago but could never find the information on reincarnation I wanted? It's driving me batshit.

Anybody has any preferences or comments on any of the three I'd love to hear them :)

Damn. I really, really need more time- I'd very much like to chat with you if you have time at some point because I really miss our discussions. And I very much want to see that Houjou/Kagome fic, because I remember it being beyond intriguing... :)

Since Rath agreed to beta if I got my act in gear, it looks like that's the way the wind's blowing. Of course, I probably shouldn't be allowed near Naruto with a ten foot pole, not to mention exploring these kind of pop-psych ideas in fanfic, but when has that ever stopped me? Plus I really, really want to write Uchiha Obito :) I may ask you some questions though since you were silly enough to vote. Incidentally, do they ever mention the Yellow Flash's first name as Arashi or is this something I've created out of my head (I know they've never mentioned his family name)?

Me too. I have been on AIM a little more recently but we don't ever seem to be on at the same time. Maybe I should make an appointment...lol.

I, honestly, can't wait to see what you do with Naruto. I find your summary rather enthralling. (pop-psyche and all) Itachi is, also, an interesting character. What were the circumstances that lead to the the Uchiha massacre? There had to be something that pushed Itachi over the edge. Not that he isn't a sociopath. I've sen all the flashbacks in the anime and manga and there seems to be some underlying reason for Itachi's behavior. It may make sense only to Itachi but something is there. I'm really curious to see your take on his character. Maybe without his father's (and the rest of the clan's) high expectations or being thrust into shinobi life so early things would have turned out differently. You can't tell me ( ... )
