What if 'Rock Falls. Everybody Dies.'?
In the interest of getting my writing brain going again, I'd like to pose a challenge. Some of you may have been around long to remember this (AKA the infamous Naphy crossover challenge). As most of you probably know by now, my other fanfiction crusade is the promotion of alternate realities (see this, this and this). For those who have happily managed to avoid my rants on this until now, I define an Alternate Reality as a story where, taking into consideration all known canon and events in a universe, a deliberate change is made at some point in the universe and the consequences of that change are explored.
So did you ever wonder what would happen if a large rock fell and took out Voldemort and the Potters in one fell swoop? What if a large rock landed on Frodo? On Aslan?
Boy do I have a bunny-bargain for you! I will happily write a short alternate reality based on any fandom I'm remotely familiar with, based on any alternate reality prompt you want to give. I've even included a set of potential generic prompts ;) Bring on the rocks!

As before, I'll take any prompt along these lines, just as long as it's an actual canon split. These are just ideas :)
Major Plot Point A never happened.
Major Plot Point A was delayed for a significant length of time until Character X was older and had more life experience under their belt.
Major Plot Point A happened much earlier in Character X's lifetime.
Major Plot Point A happened to Character Y instead of Character X.
Major Plot Point A (where A is a relatively binary set of choices) was resolved in the second possible way.
Rather than Major Plot Point A, a new Major Plot Point B happened to Character X.
Canon Universe M had one major historical detail changed.
Character X died.
Character X lived.
Character X never met/was significantly delayed in meeting Character Y.
Character X met Character Y much earlier than in canon.
Character X met Character Z before meeting Character Y.
Character X discovered suddenly that they preferred tentacles and deserted the storyline to run off with Hogwarts' Giant Squid.
