"Unbarricade the door and come out with your hands raised above your head," the ranking police officer calls through the bullhorn. Damn, it was getting tight. They weren't supposed to be there. They were supposed to have gotten into the bank, wriggled their way through the security system with the help of their inside man, and then gotten out smoothly with Junno behind the wheel of the getaway car parked a block over, on top of a storm drain whose cover had been conveniently removed.

But the best laid plans of mice and men oft go awry, and awry they went today. They got into the bank, and they got through the security system smooth as butter.
