But the best laid plans of mice and men oft go awry, and awry they went today. They got into the bank, and they got through the security system smooth as butter. "You know what they do to guys like us in prison," Shige muttered darkly. Jin crossed Shige off his list of potential accomplices. He couldn't count on someone who thought that way. He'd be overly cautious, and would probably be willing to give Jin up in a deal with the DA to get out of prison time himself.
Jin went to find Koyama. Koyama was too much of a sweetheart to deny him, but that soft-hearted nature of his might pose other problems during the getaway. And law enforcement might try to appeal to his better nature or something. For non-violent crimes, though, Koyama might be an asset. He'd have to ask him a few questions.
