That's a pretty easy recipe! I still have a box of bisquick here at my house, though. We'll have to use that up first.

I never realized how easy pancakes were! Even with bisquick, you have to add all the wet ingredients right? But it's easier to know 'oh i have bisquick' and not have to worry about if you have all the dry ingredients on hand.

You mean you don't run into people you know all the time? Granted, that is odd, but then again, I ran into a Georgetown professor on my flight to or from Thailand. It was semi-probable because the professor specializes in Southeast Asian, particularly Thai, studies, but still...

I kind of do? but they're usually people in DC (actually, it happened a lot in Tokyo, and considering how few people I knew compared to the population, you'd imagine it would be harder) or like, NYC or something. I guess it was just strange because she moved out of the area and they happened to be on the same plane.

Come to think of it, my best friend from when I was little moved away when I was nine or ten, and we ended up randomly on the same plane to China that year. It was really weird! There was no planning at all.

We tried to make pancakes on pancake day, but none of our frying pans are non-stick :[ I used to make pancakes a lot after a night out when I lived back at home! I was an awesome host :D

so, i need more details on this pancake day thing. Like, people kept telling me 'oh, today is pancake day' and IHOP had free pancakes, but since when is this an international holiday?

Sadness, no non-stick pans ;_;
rofl i'm not sure the first thing I'd want after a night out would be pancakes. i bet you still are an awesome host.

Pancake day's realy name is Shrove Tuesday which is a Christian holiday. It's supposed to be about giving something up, such as egg and fat, so you make pancakes before the start of lent, I guess...Idk, it's a big deal over here.

kamsdk i know right. They were good for hangovers! :D
