the job had been filled already. of course, for the headhunter, they don't care, since they just want me to pad their database, so they didn't bother mentioning that. idk that yo came all that way for an appointment they didn't really keep? call their HR and find out eh? bawling. if you were my mum you'd get free shit.

T_T i am not talented.

Technically, though, the interview was just with the employment agency. They kept the interview. The fact that I intially applied for a position that had been filled doesn't matter to them, because their interview is just for their company. They promise to pass me on to employers after screening, the first of which would be the one I applied for, provided it's open. Of course, it wasn't open. And that's what they didn't tell me.

UGH. That's so incredibly unfair. Will they at least compensate you for going all the way to DC (not that I know how fair West Virginia is to DC...)?

i don't think your services will be required, though thank you for offering. besides, if they're still standing, they may still find me a job. it just would have been nice to get a little more communication from a company that wants me to contact them every time i take a shit

It would have been nice if they'd told me, esp since I was on the phone with them not very long ago (and decided to move my appt up so that this wouldn't happen). I'd have planned life a little bit differently. oh well. experience is experience.
