11 AM and i'm typing on a school computer; here until 7(30?). joy.
The computer's default language was set to French. It kept giving me errors, and I'm looking at the word 'Japanese' going, I know i spelled that right. I've changed it back now.

my 'i don't wanna' is the size of a small city )

food, 疲れてるけど, with the doom!, class, someone just shoot me kthxbai, lx or bastardizations thereof, quotes without context, i am so fucked it's not even funny, please let me live through this week, homework, sleep, posts of oblique references, with the random, unproductive is my tokugi, school

You day makes my day so pathetic in comparison. Fuck thesis. My mum keeps asking me what I want to write my dissertation on. I feel like wailing 'IT'S NOT IN UNTIL NEXT MARCH!!!!' but I know I'll leave it to the last minute and drive myself mad with panic.

I am addicted to Jade MacRae at the moment. Damn you Jin.

ajsj I hope you don't get too drowned by work ♥.

sometime you're going to have to explain the uni system to me, so i know i've got it down right. What are you studying, actually?

hahaha. yes! i'm not the only one. I've been listening to Jade MacRae for the past 3 days. I haven't even listened to the full version of LOVEJUICE, because, to be honest, i think her stuff is generally better dance music. *grooves out*

J;KLFAJLKAF ME TOO!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR KIND THOUGHTS!

yeah our uni system is kind of hilariously different. Im studying social work-I do that for three years (so one more year) and then I graduate with both a degree and a qualification. But um a dissertation is the 10,000 word essay we have to do on a subject of our choice relating to both our degree and the pathway (so the type of people we want to work with) we've chosen. What about you?

Me either! Her music is just nicer. Idk. I love dance music as a whole!

kasmja NO PROBLEM ♥!

That all sounds like so much effort and just makes the idea of going back to uni so much more terrifying to me.

it's really not all that much work. if i'd gone to bed sooner sunday night, i would have been better. Also, i kind of idk stopped drinking caffiene the past couple days for no reason, so part of it is probably also the lack of drugs in my system.

besides, you're smart. you can do it.

I'm not nearly as smart as I appear to be. I was a solid C student in most of my classes in high school. Luckily I already cut down on caffeine.

I guess I really should just set up my taking the mature entry test and get it over with, shouldn't I?

I don't think that high school grades are necessarily the best indicator of intelligence.

You should do it! Ok, i kind of just drive for things once i've made up my mind, but. I mean, it's better than stressing over it in advance. Might as well do it.

lajdljladll you have so much work ))): i'm kind of glad i'm going back to uni part time for a semester to see if i can take it before jumping right in *squishes*

LAJljlsjfklsjfls it's so weird to me that a japanese idol has suddenly made jade macrae popular in the je sector of fandom - i knew her because she's from australia and known here, but ahahahhaha it just keeps amusing me XDDD

maaa, it's my own fault. if i were smarter, i'd have taken only 3 courses this term, and left one for the summer and graduated a bit later. I just have to push through this last little bit. *squishes back*

XDDDD i'm glad that someone thought to mention it, because, well, her music is better.
...random, but. speaking of Australian music. This is from forever ago, like 2001, but. Aneiki. one hit wonder? or did they have songs other than 'Pleased to Meet You'?

ahahahah, yes. jade does most of her own music, at least i'm sure she writes her own lyrics - and well, i'm sure someone's going to shoot me for saying so, but she's a better singer, too *HIDES*

and i think aneiki have only ever had that one hit and one album - i haven't really heard much else about them ever since then. :/

well, no one will shoot you here. I think you're right.

thanks ♥ that was on tv all the time last time (the only time) i was in Aus. and i was recently reminded of it, so i was wondering.

Re: Debbie and prof reviews
This is why Georgetown's system is terrible for prof reviews. If they want decent ones, DON'T DO IT IN THE MIDDLE OF A CLASS THAT PROF IS TEACHING. What a joke.

Have you noticed any aspects of the phonetics or phonology of your language that seem to be subject to sociolinguistic variation? Discuss (in about 250 words)
I can't even say hello in 250 words. I would have issues. Though at this point, probably anything less than 10 pages is a blessing for you.

「いつもお世話になっており、ありがとうございました」と伝いたいんだけど、英語なら、そういうことはそのようにformalizedじゃないよね。

Babelfish says: "You have taken care always, thank you", that transmission we would like to be, but it is if English, as for such that way there is no formalized, don't you think?"

I love Babelfish so much. I would date it if it were a person just for the fun and confusion.

And I love you. Good luck!

oh, but "You have taken care always, thank you", that transmission we would like to be, but it is if English, as for such that way there is no formalized, don't you think?" is exactly what i meant to say. exactly. lack of english sentences not withstanding.
