it's too early for this

11 AM and i'm typing on a school computer; here until 7(30?). joy.
The computer's default language was set to French. It kept giving me errors, and I'm looking at the word 'Japanese' going, I know i spelled that right. I've changed it back now.

my 'i don't wanna' is the size of a small city )

food, 疲れてるけど, with the doom!, class, someone just shoot me kthxbai, lx or bastardizations thereof, quotes without context, i am so fucked it's not even funny, please let me live through this week, homework, sleep, posts of oblique references, with the random, unproductive is my tokugi, school

That all sounds like so much effort and just makes the idea of going back to uni so much more terrifying to me.

it's really not all that much work. if i'd gone to bed sooner sunday night, i would have been better. Also, i kind of idk stopped drinking caffiene the past couple days for no reason, so part of it is probably also the lack of drugs in my system.

besides, you're smart. you can do it.

I'm not nearly as smart as I appear to be. I was a solid C student in most of my classes in high school. Luckily I already cut down on caffeine.

I guess I really should just set up my taking the mature entry test and get it over with, shouldn't I?

I don't think that high school grades are necessarily the best indicator of intelligence.

You should do it! Ok, i kind of just drive for things once i've made up my mind, but. I mean, it's better than stressing over it in advance. Might as well do it.

Maybe but I was always a disappointing student. No discipline and all that.

I guess so. Plus, if I do manage to get back into uni at least then I may have actual opportunities in life.

maa, korekara ne. from now on, things can be different. I'm a very strong believer in second (+n) chances. even if i am bad at mathematical notation.

opportunities in life are exciting!

This would be more like a third chance, actually. Doing better than me given I can remember almost nothing of maths at all.

They are! It would be nice to have possibilities other than being a secretary for the rest of my life. Someday having the possibility to make decent pay would also be nice.

whichever. i believe in multiple chances.
speaking of horrible math skills, i regularly forget to sign bills because figuring out the tip takes so much brain power. My friends all laugh at me. T_T

I do too so it's all good.

I'm so glad we don't have to tip here. Figuring out the tip would be too much for my feeble brain to deal with!

tipping is probably my least favourite american custom. god. percentages. hate.

you just move the decimal point over once and you get 10%. double it for 20%. or, half-it and add the half to the original 10% for 15%. 2 years of calculus and that's all i got. which is why i tend to round the 10% to the nearest dollar and then just double it. i'm too lazy to do anything else.

and yes, i am stalking your comments and talking about maths before 10 am my time. it's better than writing out the executive summary/proposal for my project.

XD usually i see if i can make the total come to the nearest whole number. i don't want to give 20 or 15 percent, though. well, maybe 15. if they earn it. i am stingy with tips. it's about the service. But rounding to the nearest dollar before the multiplication would make it so much easier! then i would be like, what's twice 1.23? what's half 1.23? half 1.23, half 1.23, half 1.23 the whole time i'm figuring it out.

i'm so sorry. *hugs* that must be a nasty summary/proposal.
