Didn't start a new job today yesterday. Turns out what they wanted me to come in for was to ask some questions they forgot to ask me in my last interview. I start my new job at Albertsons tomorrow. I go in at 8am. As it's my first day, it'll likely be mostly, if not all, the actual hiring process with paperwork to fill out and stuff. I should be getting my schedule, and I hope they give me decent hours. I don't know what my wages will be, so I should be finding that out, too.

It's been almost two months since I last posted. I don't think I've ever gone that long between entries before.

It looks like my sister and her family are moving to Ogallala, Nebraska, because my brother-in-law got a job out there. That's 1,500 miles away from here. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. The thing I think I'll miss most is seeing my niece and nephew grow up.

At least keeping in touch with far-off relatives is much easier now than when my aunt ( Read more... )
