My brother and sister-in-law were here visiting all last week! Yay! It was great! I didn't get much sleep, but I got off work early everyday. I got gross bug bites on the 4th of July but the fireworks were cool. In California fireworks were illegal, and I guess technically they are here also but you can buy them at Indian reservations and everyone ( Read more... )

I finished my first whole week at work and I still like the job. I'm hoping it's a good sign. The girls in the office are all really great. The time seems to pass quickly, so let's hope it stays that way. I'm not quite used to getting up and going to bed so early, but it's not as bad as it could be. I went motorcycle riding again on Saturday. We went through Portland out to the Oregon Coast to Tillamook and got ice cream at the Tillamook Cheese Factory. Then we drove up the coast and had lunch at Mo's in Cannon Beach. We stopped for coffee at Starbucks in Astoria before heading back home. Beautiful ride, and the weather was mostly great. My first day at work was great. Everyone's nice and the work is good and I have to remember a zillion new and exciting passwords/codes, but I think it's going to be okay.
