I'm not so sure being a smarty pants does anything but give you a big head - which comes with irritated classmates and need for a bigger pillow. The instructor added to the exam, now he wants the 7 most relavant digits, which is easy enough, I opened my notebook to the page I did the work on and walked up and wrote them on my paper. So now he has added "assume a person can write five letters a second. How long would it take them to write the subsets up to set {k}? Which is easy enough but may be time consuming. Acutally, 1+2+3+4...+26 for the first 26 and then 26 each for the next 25 until you get to B, which drops to 25 letters. Then add them all up and divide by 5 letters per second, then divide by 60 sec'for aminutes, etc until you have broken it down as little as possible. It really might not take that long. I wonder if he just wanted us to write the whole thing out?

I seem to have that effect on some people, such as my friend Sarah, she gets bummed out about stuff and then looks at me and suddenly things don't seem so bad... :)

Actually, they are such tiny needles that they ae not supposed to hurt. I've heard it can be a great experience. I sorta doubt THAT though. I'll shudder over here in empathy, ok?
