I love my family, and I love Lil' J, my eleven-year-old son of my first cousin (families are confusing). BUT- Lil' J is an unbelievable chatterbox. This kid wants to talk to ask you a million questions about everything you're doing and everything you're going to do and then confirm in triplicate everything you've just said.  It has been raining here in Nowhere, DE, all day. With a couple of false sunshine breaks, it has been Noah's Ark material for around ten hours.  We made it safely to the salty-smelling bay air and foul black mud and horseshoe crabs mating and and the endless marsh grasses and the mysterious shell fragments.  ah, fuck, broken heart pieces don't vacuum up too well. i'd fix the damn thing, but I think she has the super glue.

 At least one of the boys, #2, may be an idiot. But I think he's quite lovable, really, and I am helping to teach him the euphonium, and he is really bad with words but fairly and surprisingly receptive to music. We may make an acceptable sort of human out of him after all.
