This recipe was totally stolen from
hapabento, and I'm gonna make it tonight since I finally made seitan yesterday! Wheeeee.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of bite sized pieces of seitan (can use pre-packaged, but I make my own--it's much less expensive and more convenient that way)
- 1 cup of shoyu
- 1/2 cup of unsweetened juice from canned pineapple
- grated fresh

However, for a simple start I'd suggest this: 99% of the time I use a recipe for Slow-Cooker Seitan Pot Roast. Simply leave out the vegetable part. Mix the ingredients for the seitan and put it in your crock pot with the broth. I let mine cook on low for about six hours instead of the directed four. I have a feeling that it depends on your crock pot. I also turn it once if I'm home to do so. If not, it still turns out fine ( ... )
