I wish I knew your show so I could try to write you fic...but I just never could get into it.

The actress is in her late thirties and the character was portrayed as approximately Elizabeth Weir's age. She's also a mother by Season Five.

And honestly? I'm glad you didn't. You'd have ended up writing Elizabeth, not Teyla.

You're right. Elizabeth would have been my focus. Even so, if I'd fallen for the show, I think I'd be *able* to write you Teyla and enjoy it--and add more to that area of fic.

Rachel looks SO young that, even when I do the math of, "Huh...she was probably early 20s on FK in 1992..." I don't see her as being quite as old as she is (which is MY age).

But it's interesting that she was portrayed as Elizabeth's age. That's interesting.
