I now have TWO stories!

One is the story that best answers the prompt (thanks for helping me figure that one out, mtgat!). It is 3400 words.

The other is like a prequel. It is 6000 words.

Written (extremely late) for Yahtzee63 in the help_haiti challenge. Prompt was "A Bones-centric ficlet with a strong B/B vibe with words/ideas: babies, gossip, dissection, the more things change, the more they stay the same, Hawai'i."

I need someone (or a couple of someones who'd be interested in and willing to beta an Early Edition story (set circa 1996, in Chicago and the burbs, of course), that is...long-ish and plotty.

I expect to have a completed draft by tonight or tomorrow noonish.
