We went to four stores yesterday (that one I went to THEN got the kids). We found a lovely black and white dress for Elf. It was the ONLY dress in FOUR stores that had a girl's dress without Hearts! or Flowers! or Butterflies ( Read more... )

Please don't hesitate to call us if you need a place to park the kids for a while making arrangements (or whatever) when the time comes. We are OOT 6/27-7/5, but before and after that, we're available to help.

p.s. Is Ben good for shoes? We have a pair of size 13 (I think) black dress shoes, worn once. Glad to loan them out.

And the shoes would be FANTASTIC. Thank you! I'm going to have Jody pick them up as he's at his folks' right now. I'll have him call you.

He's not sure his mom will make it through the weekend, and I'm just hoing my being gone doesn't mess things up and make other people's lives more difficult.
