I had a great time at Endgame's 4/23 boardgame/wargame auction, in which 99 bidders bought 500+ games in 5 hours. I brought in six boxes of games (half for friends) and most of them sold, and I was good and only bought 3 things, although I bid on several more. 2011 Books I'm Eagerly Awaiting
In 2010 I read 93 books (and 240 other things like manga, graphic novels, and RPGs). So far in 2011 I've read 8 books (and 31 other things), and my to-be-read stack is still absurdly large, but here's what I'm anticipating most in 2011.

Judging Iron GM
People have asked how the judging worked at the Iron GM competition between Ryan Macklin and Brian Isikoff at Endgame 9/25. Here are the kind of things we did and the kinds of things we looked for, although your mileage may vary. Bruce Harlick was the other judge, and I hope he'll post his own views.
