43 days. Until I get married to my best friend. Nik and I sat outside Tiffany's today with Starbucks and I swear I've never been happier, just people watching and laughing and being together. There has been a lot of tragedy over the past few days. Two girls in my youth group, their dad passed away today. A former friend lost his girlfriend recently.

Thought Live Journal deserved to know that I'm engaged! :) To a wonderful, beautiful man. I love him completely. I'm going to grow old with him. He bought me the most beautiful engagement ring possibly. He's sweet and considerate and amazing.

Went to a wedding with Nick. He's very much a gentleman. The youth love him. And in less words (than more) I think he asked if I'd be his girlfriend or if that was the road we were heading down. So... his name is Nick. He took me on a "super" date last Saturday before we left on mission trip. He picked me up in an old red convertable Mercedes Benz! He lives on his own. Has a good job. Spitting is dignified. In fact, spitting is the most polite and mature thing a person can possibly do. I mean, saving cats from trees and kissing babies is basically rude in comparison. It shows gratitude. It shows grace. And it definitely shows class.

Spitting should become a national symbol of refinement.

I digress.
