After something like 10 years, I finally gave up and allowed my paid account to lapse (it's currently reverted back for a week to make up for an outage, but after May 14, that's it). So, about an hour ago, I slipped on the stairs and twisted/sprained/somethinged my foot. Judging by my daughter's actions - and the fact that this is the first day in four that I haven't had to change a poopy diaper - I think I can say that she quite literally does not give a shit.

Hmm. Put like that... I think I am okay with it.

So, it has been a while. There is too much, let me sum up: had a baby, bought a house. I have a baby who hates fun. Now that the heat index is back under 90 degrees, we took a walk into town. She enjoyed the hardware store, was bored by the clothing store, and then FELL ASLEEP as soon as we hit the toy store. I was going to buy her something.
