CONGRATS on your oh-so-deserved award!!!! Funky banner with the faux-Gothic script, but oh well.

Good analysis on Murder by Decree -- great premise, good casting, and then whoops. I also preferred From Hell. Both the Ripper and Holmes are these big, iconic, baggage-laden juggernauts, and they're all too apt to collide, set loose in the same film. (Like my metaphors.)

Thanks for the reminders on the kinkytiems. Note to self: Get thee to the kinkmeme, unfair Ophelia, put your money where your filthy mouth is. :)

OMG YEAH, it had so much promise the film, and don't get me wrong, I likes it a fair deal, but when you have both read and seen From Hell, not even the inclusion of Holmes can save it from paling in comparison.
