I do it without thinking, and then when I realise it, it actually bothers me. I change my clothes. Like when i inadvertently wear green on St. Pat's day.

I will have all of Saturday to myself, and I think I was gonna do the crime museum, and see the war memorial (s).

Well, I'm always up for walking around the Mall area if you want company for the memorials and/or and a street vendor popsicle.

BTW, a friend told me (after I did the "DID YOU KNOW WE HAD A CRIME MUSEUM" at her) that the ticket to the museum are $2 less if you buy them online rather than at the door.

The thing is, I hate buying tickets online. I feel like I'm bound by some unnatural law to DO THAT THEN, and sometimes when I want to visit places, I skivv off. Because I am lazy and don't care about learning or whatever. Usually it's because I'm lying in the grass somewhere with my eyes closed, saying, "Everything is so green!"

Then I feel bad about buying the tickets and not using them. :(

How about I solidify my plans with my Mother in law (who I'm staying with at the Plaza) and then I'll post later this week, and we can make plans? HOLY SHIT, we can play "torchwood and aliens" and shoot things in the face with our finger guns! PEW PEW PEW! TAKE THAT, BLOWFIS--oh hi officer!

I'm really normal. Ask anyone.

Amand-r: I am apparently incapable of getting laid. I have a whole FLIST FULL OF PEOPLE WHO OFFER BECAUSE THEY ARE ON OTHER CONTINENTS.

I would so totally do you! Even without Gwen's Do-Me boots. But even though we're on the same continent, we're separated by most of it. Bloody geography.

My favorite things in/near London were the V&A (pretty much the best museum ever) and Kew Gardens (and we were there in late October/November and they were still awesome, if a bit damp). We first stayed with in a flat owned by a hostel management group that was awesome, but when we got back from Stratford-upon-Avon (which is pretty boring unless you like historical house museums but the play was good), the same group set us up in this shithole they were in the middle of remodeling and it was so very nasty. Thank god it was just overnight. I can't for the life of me remember the name of the company though. :(

I was going to try to avoid London, but if I don't get anything better to do, I might just do it.

I like how small the country is. I'm like, "two hours on a train? You can't even get across PA in twice that! Hah!"

Because I am a colonialist bitch.

I did the wander around the country thing in Ireland but have mostly just stuck to cities in the UK. I can also come up with probably out of date rec for Edinburgh, but that's about it.

I continue to be thankful that driving through PA isn't as soul destroying as OH.

Oh, and the buy ahead website for trains works pretty well, although it freaked out Jason's credit card company and they put his card on hold after he bought the tickets from our house. That was fun, especially since we were leaving the next day.

OHIO OHIO, I HATE DRIVING IN OHIO. I get a migraine every time. Something about how flat and straight the roads are.

Thanks for the heads up on the tickets. I'll have to tell my CC company that I'll be going out of the country for a while. AND NEVER COMING BACK.

BARRY! I LIKE HOW HE RAN! I WAS LIKE, LOL!

I like Tara, too, but I remember this particular arc from the books, and this was where she came in, right? IIRC Eggs was her BF when they were introduced. I guess I like the arc, but it feels like it's so getting drawn out and is getting dull.

OH MY GOD JESSICA/HOYT. I HOPE THEY FALL IN CRAZY LOVE.

The arc with Jason has me intrigued. Like, do they KNOW that he has a vampire-loving sister? I find it hard to believe that they don't. They started to show an unnatural interest in hims before he even went to Texas. I think they're setting this all up. Remember, they are the ones who tried to kidnap Sook. So they HAVE to know. Well, maybe not about Sook, but they want Jason for something. He's not a good leader, and he isn't smart.

Who's in your icon?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I REPLIED AND EVERYTHING!

and I got the reply and all.

I just finished re-reading the second book of the series because I had forgotten quite a bit of the not-Dallas arc and you are right on both counts, this is where Tara comes in and Eggs was her fiance. Also, both were white and Eggs was a sorry thing. IMHO, they've screwed this part of the story all out of recognition and I can't figure out how they mean to resolve it.

That's Alan Rickman in my icon. I love that he's wearing a kilt and posing all heroic on the statuary. He's an amazing actor and an amazingly private person for all that he is an actor. I admire that in him. But I love and adore Snape. (NOT AR!!!)

Yeah, I think I said something like that to sinanju. I don't understand where the whole arc is going, and I guess in that way it will be interesting.

They might deny us Eric in slutty clothes, and for that I am sorry. :(

Ah, AR, so smexy.
