Getting one of these things was recommended to me by a higher-up at Interpol, not for the sake of having a diary but so that I could communicate with the Pack when we weren't all in the same place. That's fine. I understand that ( Read more... )

Mr. Lang! I want you to know I'm doing my very best to be a good inmate. I haven't caused any more trouble. At least, I don't think I have...

But letting everyone read your diary... It feels so scandalous! As if looking into one's soul...

If you don't think you have, then chances are pretty low. Doesn't mean you haven't, though. You must be vigilant.

I'm glad you see it that way. One who bares his soul must have nothing to hide, right?

I don't know if I'm brave enough to bare my soul that completely...

Lang Zi says, "For every pound a pack is willing to risk, they may gain five."

I trust you will be mindful of what you choose to share. Foolish internet users and their foolish internet communication tools...foolishly disclosing private information and their locations at the time of posting -- like fools! Crime is on the rise because of their lack of discretion.

Ha ha ha ha!

I expected you would find me here, Ms. von Karma. Not to worry, of course: nothing I share will put any investigation of mine - or anyone else's - in jeopardy.

So delightful to hear from you, Agent Lang! I do hope you've been well. Since we met, I've been sure to let everyone know how helpful you and your men were during the investigation at the embassy.

I hope you included your own part in that story, ambassador. I would hate to think you aren't using your own actions as well as they might be used - a leader of such integrity inspires faith and courage and good will wherever he goes.

Oh! I'll include my role when telling the story from now on--though it wasn't so much. I simply tried to help Mr. Edgeworth in any way I could.

I'll certainly do as you suggest, when carrying out my duties as ambassador. It's always been my dream to help and inspire others.

Back again, are we?

How were things in Zheng Fa? I've read the newspapers, of course, but I don't expect one's first hand experiences to completely match up with the media's reports.

Figured that out all by yourself?

Things went about as well as could be expected. I got a commendation from the state. It was nice.

Hey, you are the man with the awesome shades. I had no idea who you were!

It was a pleasure to meet you, ja? And... no hard feelings about the coffee, I trust. I'd like to share my wealth with you. The money went to a good cause, but I will never brew fifty-nine pounds of grounds.

Heh. Don't worry about it - I don't drink much coffee, myself. Share it around the prosecutor's office, I'm sure they would appreciate it.
