Lang Zi says, "The toothless wolf eats only sweetbreads." Looks like I've got no choice, here.

I'm in need of an assistant. I've got advertisements running in a couple of papers in the city so I expect a pretty big turnout, but some of my men think I should post a notice here, too, because fewer people read the papers any more.

Good luck finding a suitable assistant, Agent Lang!

I myself must wait for the government to appoint one. It must be nice to be able to hire directly from the populace! I'm sure you'll get many excellent applicants.

I like being able to choose my assistant, yeah. Do you at least nominate candidates for yourself?

You'll be working so closely together, and in such dangerous situations, I can understand why you'd need to hand-select an assistant.

As for me, I do have some influence, and I can veto a decision.

Considering the current political situation, I think the government is going to select someone from the province formerly known as the Kingdom of Allebahst. Things are still settling down back home.

I do like to be personally involved in local hiring, but my staff prefers that I delegate, and I try not to give them too much trouble!

Being politic is a pressure I don't think I could handle.

Don't I still owe you a beer?

I know all too well the difficulty of finding a trustworthy colleague nowadays.

Anyway, I hope you find a perfect match soon, Mr. Lang.

It seems to be going around a bit, yeah. You, me, Edgeworth, pretty much everyone he's talked to for the past month... it's like a virus in this country, and everyone's catching it.

I don't suppose you'd be interested?

Well, I do have recent experience with what I guess you could considered synchronized dancing! Or maybe it's just group acting... And not exactly synchronized at all...

Good luck with your search, sir!
