Today I heard from my brother, mom and dad, had dinner with my girlie and amazing husband, got some adorable gifts, put up some Christmas decorations, and got to spend some time just "being"... no rushing anywhere, no planning, no hoards - it was awesome.  And to top it off, there's a blanket of snow outside - only about an inch, but enough to give

This is the time of year when I miss birthdays. My dad's b'day was the 3rd and I called him last night (the 7th) ... duh.
