After a good night of rest, I'm feeling mostly human again. Michael asked me last night if I was being quiet, and all I could do was nod "yes". I was out of nerves and out of words. Today I heard from my brother, mom and dad, had dinner with my girlie and amazing husband, got some adorable gifts, put up some Christmas decorations, and got to spend some time just "being"... no rushing anywhere, no planning, no hoards - it was awesome.  And to top it off, there's a blanket of snow outside - only about an inch, but enough to give ( Read more... )
