I love Halloween.
It's the one day/evening of the year where all the neighbors come out of their houses and chat with each other.
The little kids are adorable.
You get to mess with the older ones - if they don't say thank you, I tell them they have to give the candy back. If they're not wearing a costume, I tell them "EEEK Scary Mask!" and other TERRIBLY witty things. Plus, you can randomly shriek or do a witch-cackle and no one things anything of it. Try doing that at Easter and see what happens.
And OH LOOK. We had a bag of candy left over and it HAPPENS to be full of my favorite things. *nom nom nom
