Yeah that's how I feel about Haiti too. It's like, if you really care then go pitch in with time and effort don't use your cellphone to text to donate 10 dollars.

I think giving money is an easy way out, but it makes people "feel better" about buying those expensive pairs of shoes or new plasma tv. I'm on your side haha.

Thank you! Maybe facebook is conspiring against us few. So many people are donating money to a faceless cause. Just like buying those Darfur bands. Only a few will have the guts to go down there and help.
