I managed to get back to London, and my stuff has finally arrived. I was starting to get really annoyed.
I have a new baby cousin! I am very excited. I'm sad that he wasn't born early so I could see him while I was home, but life goes on. And he's here now, and quite adorable from the pictures.
I'm having trouble getting worked up about what has happened in Haiti, which I feel kind of bad about. Haiti was a problem before this, as the poorest country in the Western hemisphere, and while we all care right now, pretty soon something else will happen to distract us and we'll go back to ignoring Haiti and nothing really will get solved. I'm just being pessimistic, I guess.
I have decided that I kind of want to make a coffin quilt. K says I'm morbid and disturbed and need to be stopped. But I think it would be cool.
