I have been listening to the rumors of a Layne Staley biopic, 'Get Born Again', for some time now and apparently now they have decided on who would play Layne.  His name is Lathan McKay, a Texas boy (!)  I have to say that I am completely in awe of how much he resembles Layne.

I remember her in her younger years chasing that damn ball until you thought she was going to collapse.  She would run so fast down the beach bounding into the waves…biting at them.  She was such a great protector and so loving.

So vibrant and full of life.  It seems like just yesterday in my head….those days.
