Get Born Again

I have been listening to the rumors of a Layne Staley biopic, 'Get Born Again', for some time now and apparently now they have decided on who would play Layne. His name is Lathan McKay, a Texas boy (!) I have to say that I am completely in awe of how much he resembles Layne.
I have mixed emotions about this project. I can only hope that it is done right and is respectful to his memory and to his family. The film will be based on the biography by Adriana Rubio. I do remember that shortly after his death his family wasn't too happy about the book and the author herself, but... I guess we'll see.
I have read interviews where he expresses his respect for Layne and AIC as a band and he really hopes that he can fully and respectfully portray his life and talent.
