Well, here's what I've been thinking about.

One, Shadows and Personae are both tightly linked to thoughts and emotions, right? And they're both related to the Major Arcana of the Tarot. Which may mean there's a similarity in what they are, which is why someone or something is able to use Shadows to affect Personae.

Which brings me to two, I know this is pretty obvious, but this can't just be normal Shadows. Normal ones can't just do this, and besides that, act on an instinctive level from what I can tell. It could be one of the big Shadows. It could even be a person directing them. Whatever it is, it's intelligent, and we need to locate it ASAP.
