Thursday, Erika's preschool had an emergency closing. Two days leading up to the closure, they had five reported cases of stomach viruses. Wednesday night, the parent meeting had to be cancelled because so many parents were sick with the stomach bug themselves. Someone gave me a cold for my birthday.  had body aches on Friday and Saturday last week. By Sunday, I felt better, but then on Tuesday I woke up with a sore throat and a runny nose, Wednesday it progressed quickly into a wet chesty cough with lots of phlegm and a splitting headache, so I left work at 8 AM and went to the doctor ( Read more... )

First day of school for me was officially Monday. We had a special celebration--- thankfully closed to the public and media--- that was just for us, the students, the parents, the faculty. Went to the Walk-In Clinic yesterday and was diagnosed with acute bronchitis. I've got a wet cough, wheezing, phlegm with yellow tinge to it. She said my chest sounds very wet. Prescribed antibiotic Cetril for ten days and steroid Prednisone for five days ( Read more... )

I woke up at 1:30 AM on Sunday and felt like my skin was on fire!!!!!
