I think it's sadly hilarious that even 14 year old Eric kind of thinks adult (lol) Devin is a dumbass. Poor bb gets no respect, probably because he doesn't deserve it but still. When even your half-dead 14 year old best friend thinks you're epic fail, that has to be some kind of rock bottom, doesn't it?

It was a sweet ending, though, and very in character for all of them, I think. Despite Devin's many, many other faults, he really would happily sacrifice his own life to save Wes or Eric.

Loved this. Kinda sad it's over, but yay and thank you so much. <3

I'm a little sad it's over, too! Maybe that's why I'm already thinking of doing a short sequel despite having eleventy billion other projects to complete?

Devin, dude, when your fourteen year old half dead best friend thinks you're a fuckup, you know something's wrong with you. He might have been an epic fail, but it's still sad he had to die for his failures, isn't it?

Yay for my stuff being in character! I'm glad it was because that's what scares me most about fanfic: getting the characters to be authentic.

I'm just all, awwww because Devin -- Devin. You so epically fucked this up. Should have let people stay dead, etc etc, and then maybe you'd still have Wes and you'd still be alive.

But nope. Of course he doesn't. Why would he ever listen to reason? Boy doesn't know how. I'm so sad because Wes now has to live without him. Poor Wes, bb. He's not going to handle that well and it'll make me saaad. ;_;
